In order to eliminate all possible loot drama when it comes to my Raid Groups I will be initiating a loot council for all loot decisions. The loot council will consist of any and all officers in attendance, Except any officer who may want the item. In any circumstance where a majority decision can not be reached by the officers on hand, or perhaps there are no eligable officers on hand, the Raid Group as a whole will have a voice in the matter
The Decision of the majority of the officers will stand. The Loot Council will base their decision on several or all of the following factors. 1) Who the item is the largest upgrade for, offspecs and sidegrades/downgrades will not be considered in the original discussion 2) How it best benefits the guild. Ie: If its a tanking item , the tank that it benefits the guild most to have will get it. If its a healing item, the healer that the guild benefits most from having it, gets it. 3) Attendance and guild activity. Ie: If somebody only raids once a month their viability for the item will drop considerably over somebody who is able to and willing to raid all the time to help the guild. 4) Class needed items. If the item is geared toward a specific class or class type, just because it is useable by somebody else on the raid does not entitle said person to get the item. Ie: If the item is geared toward a direct damage caster, it would go to a mage or destruction lock or boomkin before it would go to a demo lock or affliction lock. and the same comes into effect if its more directed at a damage over time caster. IE: an item with 42 crit rating on it would be more benefitial in the hands of a destruction lock or a mage then it would be an affliction lock. This can greatly ease the stress of progression on the guild, it also makes sure that items that can greatly benefit the guild as a whole do so, and that items that benefit a player more go to them instead of somebody that will just end up putting the item in their bank. |
