First off I would like to thank the members who have been
very generous with donations to the guild bank, and also
thank those who have taken the time to keep it organized in some sort of fashion. For those that have been asking, the
guild bank funds/items are primarily used to help offset
the costs of gearing up, and also the cost of consumables
for raiding and guild progression. Also, most of the items
from guild raids/heroics etc. are d/e'd and placed in the
guild bank, so that when a guild member gets an item that
needs an enchant they do not have to pay AH prices for mats.
Also, good quality/hard to find items are kept in the bank
for members to use. Those with "veteran" rank or higher
have access to most areas of the guild bank. If you see an
item in the guild bank that you think you may need, but do
not have access to, don't hesitate to discuss it with an
officer, if it is a reasonable use of guild resources we
will usually accomdate you. The gold in the guild bank has
been accumulated through generous donations, as well as
selling items on the AH. The gold has been used to purchase the tabs (which are very expensive) and has been used to
purchase some flasks etc. for raids. It also may be used in the future to pay for a "respec" if we need someone to do
it for the guild, although to date no one has requested
this. In closing, i would also ask that people do not "clog" the guild bank with low level mats/items, either ask in guild caht if anyone needs them, or send them to "tfbanktoon", which we use to store many low-lvl but still usefull materials/items.
